Its total landmass is 181,035 square kilometres, bordered by thailand to the northwest,
Laos to the Northeast, Viet Nam to the east, and the Gulf of Thailand to the southwest.

正式名称は、クメール語でព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា（プレアリアチアナーチャッカンプチア)
プレアは王の称号。リアチアは王、ナーチャックは国で、
両方合わせたリアチアナーチャックは王国と言う意味です。

カンボジア王国は、立憲君主制国家です。
都はプノンペンで国民の９０％以上がクメール語を話し、
仏教（上座部仏教）を奉じるクメール人です。
